Unfortunately, Mitt has suspended his Presidential campaign. I hope we can throw our weight behind whatever GOP candidate is nominated, though if it is McCain there is unlikely to be much difference between him and the Democrat candidate.

(from an email I received)

The Romney Volunteer Center needs your help to make a difference for Governor Romney in Nevada and Florida.

Each and every contact you make provides the campaign with an opportunity to sway an undecided voter and turn out a supporter.

If you have time on Friday, January 18, we will be calling folks in Nevada to encourage them to participate in their caucuses being held this Saturday.

The RVC will be open from 12 noon- 9 pm.

Staring on Saturday, January 19, and going forward through the Florida primary on January 29th, the RVC will be open daily from 9 am- 9 pm as we reach out to voters in the Sunshine State to support Governor Romney.

Testimonials

"Romney has done his best to defend the culture of life on what is probably the most inhospitable terrain in the country." –National Review

"We couldn’t be happier with him. Without Romney, we would have been slapped with a lot of new taxes." –Barbara Anderson, Citizens for Limited Taxation (Massachusetts)

"Romney has already demonstrated an ability to lead. While governor he's turned around a $3 billion deficit without raising taxes (in "Taxachusetts"!) and has taken a hard-line stand on illegal immigration. Romney also refused to budge when lightening-laced bricks came down on him for arguing during a D.C. speech that some U.S. mosques, which reportedly preach jihad against the United States, should be under surveillance. He made a common-sense argument and refused to falter under fire." –Kathryn Lopez

"Mr. Romney could be an attractive presidential candidate. His sunny disposition puts one in mind of Ronald Reagan – he laughs easily and smiles almost continuously. He is a governor, as four of the past five presidents were; but he can claim more international experience than most state executives. In addition to his work on the Olympics, he has served on the federal Homeland Security Advisory Council, chairing its working group on intelligence and information sharing."
–James Taranto (Wall Street Journal, Editorial Page)
